Hi, I'm Utkarsh Ranjan. Welcome to my personal corner of the internet where I share my thoughts, learnings, and experiences.
I'm passionate about technology, software engineering, and building things that make a difference. When I'm not coding, you'll find me reading (mostly research papers, articles, or non-fiction) and exploring new ideas. Weekends are for tennis with friends, and occasionally torturing my neighbours as I practice the Indian classical flute.
What I Do
I work as a founding engineer at Socratic, a seed-stage startup working on ERP data migration. Before this, I was at Stripe, working in their Revenue and Financial Automation org.
I graduated from IIT Bombay with a degree in Computer Science and Engineering (Honors). During my time there, I completed research internships across the globe — at NTU Singapore, the Kitakyushu Institute of Technology in Japan, and LaBRI–INRIA in France.
